Laspotech crises stall SM&BS Isolo, Sch.of Eng. tie as 3 players get red cards in LASPOSUG league match day 3

The School of Management and Business Studies (SM&BS) Isolo and School of Engineering match was stalled on Wednesday due to the crises rocking in the Lagos state polytechnic.

This left the SM&BS Isolo's team out of the competition due to the on going protest by the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU). So, there was no approval to get a bus to convey them to the match venue in Ikorodu. 

But for the teams in Ikorodu, It was a trade of hard tackles as three players were sent off from the pitch in the Lagos State Polytechnic Students Union Government LASPOSUG league match day 3. 

The referees' red card greeted the captains of School of Applied Science and School of Technology who were sent off due to their misconduct on the field of play.

The match ended 1-1 without the services of the captain of School of Applied Science Olakunle Yusuff and the captain of School of Technology Abiodun Popola.

Also, in the encounter between School of Communication and Liberal Studies, SC&LS and School of Environment, the referee's discplinary action was vented on SC&LS player Ogunsipe Tobi who was shown the exit.

The match ended goalless.

However, School of Management and Business Studies (SM&BS) secured their first win against the defending champion School of Agriculture which ended 2-1.

Speaking with the SUG's Sports Director, Adeshina Yusuf, he advised players to maintain fairness on the field, urging them to shun violence.
