Channels Int'l Kid Cup: Team Edo player returns missing phone, N27,000, gets N100,000 reward as Team Rivers lifts trophy

An Edo state player Goodluck Destiny registered his names through being honest among others players who received cash and prizes based on their individual performance after he returned missing items he discovered during the tournament.

In reward for his act, the Vice president 1, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Barr. Seyi Akinwummi and the President, Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) Mr. Tade Azeez gave him N50,000 respectively.

After he received his cash begun the final match for the tournament between team Rivers and team Kwara which was won by team Rivers 1-0, at the Campos Mini stadium, thanks to Alexander Freeman whose free kick found the net.

Team Lagos emerged the third position after they pipped Benin Republic 1-0, thanks to Baseet Olodan who sealed the victory for them.


The winner team Rivers smiled home with N2M; the second team Kwara received N1.5M and the third earned N1M.
