2019 Batch b Oyo camp NYSC Inter-platoon competition: Platoon 10, 9 grab quarterfinal ticket

Platoon 10 and 9 have secured their spot into the quarterfinal of the 2019 Batch b Oyo camp National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Inter-platoons competition as they defeated their opponents respectively.

The knockout format competition witnessed the opening match between Platoon 10 and Platoon 3 which ended 3-0  in favour Platoon 10 at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Iseyin, Oyo state.

The much awaited tournament lived up unto expectation as Corper Member of Platoon 10 Dehinola Segun gave his team the lead before the end of the first half.

At the resumption of the second half, Platoon 10 increased the tempo as they fired from all cylinder to add to the tally as they got two goals from Corper Member  Ogunsola Abiodun and Adewale Femi.

Also, the second match of  match day one between Platoon 8 and Platoon 9 was an hard fought tie as the latter pipped their opponents 1-0.

This tournament is a knockout format which will be played among 10 Platoons. After each Platoons face themselves, 5 Platoons will get direct quarterfinal tickets while 3 teams will secure quarterfinal spot through best losers.
