2019 NYSC Batch b Oyo Camp Inter-platoon Competition: Platoon 5 Defeat Platoon 2, Zooms Into Final

Platoon 5 defeated Platoon 2 today (Sunday), 2-0 in the semifinals to secured their spot in the final of the ongoing 2019 National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Batch B Oyo camp inter-platoons competition.

Two towerring headers by Platoon 5 player in the second half handed them the final ticket.

Going into match, Platoon 2 who were ousted from the tourney without scoring a goal did come to the party as they struggled to string their passes on the pitch.

Also, Platoon 5 failed to convert their chances before the end of the break.

But after the resumption of the second half, Platoon 5 players opened the scoring as one of their player headed the goal into the net connecting from a free kick by their captain.

Few minutes later, he doubled the lead via another powerful header to seal the victory for his team. 

Platoon 5 will face the winner of the second semifinal match between Platoon 4 and Platoon 7 which will be played tomorrow (Monday).
