SMBS Isolo top LASPOSUG's log as SC&LS drop 3 points

The School of Management and Business Studies (SMBS) Isolo have climbed to the summit of the Lagos State Polytechnic Students' Union Government (LASPOSUG) league as they defeated SMBS Ikorodu 2-0 in the LASPOSUG match day two.

It was a new twist for the School of Communication and Liberal Studies (SC&LS) who humiliated the School of Technology in the match day one 4-0 as they suffered defeat from the School of Applied Science, 1-0.

Going into the match with an expectation to secure a point, SM&BS Ikorodu lost their confidence in the first half of the match.

Leveraging on their poor defense, SM&BS Isolo player Sheriff Akinsanya shot the ball behind the net in the twenty minutes to give his team the lead.

Five minutes later, errors by SMBS Ikorodu goal keeper and their defender who was dispossessed at the penalty spot gifted SMBS player Ogini Bright an easy goal to double the lead for his team.

But in the second half, SMBS Ikorodu looked fierce and they upped their ante but their efforts were wasteful.

SMBS Isolo were resilient at their defense with their superb goal keeper Kasali Ganiu who has made two clean sheets.

Also the School of Engineering edged School of Environment, 2-1 and School of Agriculture dusted their first lost as they won School of Technology, 2-1.
