Channels Int'l kids cup: Ghana's school defeated Nigeria's school 3-0

The Channel International Kids Cup kicked off today as the school from Ghana Afuaman defeated an Ogun state based school in Nigeria Ansar-udeen 3-0 in match day 1.


The match day 1 witnessed a bright weather as it ended with a basket of 7 goals from the matches played at the Agege Stadium, Lagos state.


Results from Group A showed that a school from Modakeke in Osun state Holy Saviour lost to Adetunji from Ilorin, 1-0 thanks to Abdullahi who sealed the victory via spot kick in the 88 minutes.

In group B, Samfra from Lagos edged Qua-Iboe from Kogi, 1-0 while Eghaguere from Benin city piped Model School, 1-0 from Bayelsa.

In group C, Ghana representative Afuaman defeated Ansar-u seen 3-0 while Banham ended draw against Sheikh Abubakar Gumi.

In group D, Ecole Lveil from Benin Republic won Nosiere 1-0.
